2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit Discussion

Eugene Manley, Jr, PhD, SCHEQ (STEMM & Cancer Health Equity) Founder & CEO, recently spoke with Jill Squire on Episode 36 of the Everything Cancer Podcast.

In this conversation we discussed the 2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit that will be held at PCOM -Georgia Nov 18-19, 2024. The goal of this summit is to not just talk about the problems that Black and Latino patients face when navigating lung cancer, but also present solutions by stakeholders at all levels that are decreasing dispairities, decreasing inequities, or improving outcomes. We discussed how the conference would benefit various stakeholder groups and how the content can help others implement best practices. The summit will alternate speaker presentations and panel discussions, have breakouts and roundtables that can be used to develop working groups, and space for exhibitors and sponsors. We have included the link to podcast.
