Ruby Blow, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS, BC-TMH

Ruby Blow is a master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She is the owner of Development Counts a practice that specializes in the development of mental health professionals. She taught master’s in counseling students for 10 years as an adjunct faculty member at Argosy University Atlanta. Her professional mission is to create the space and conditions for people to meet their professional potential. She does this by providing continuing education, licensure supervision, consultation (practice, clinical & ethics), and coaching services for clinicians. Her teaching specialties include ethics, supervision, and multicultural factors in counseling & supervision. She has been in practice for over 25 years. She was awarded the 2012 Counselor Educator of the Year Award by the LPCA of GA. Since December 2018, at 44, she was diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer though she had no traditional risk factors. She can also be described as a lung cancer survivor and now an advocate for lung cancer awareness.
