SCHEQ Founder accepted for Institute for Nonprofit Practice Core Certificate Program

SCHEQ (STEMM & Cancer Health Equity) Founder and CEO Dr. Eugene Manley, was recently selected to join the 2024 – 2025 cohort of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) New York City Thursdays Core Certificate Program. The INP equips social impact leaders with the skills, networks, and resources to lead and implement change. The Core Certificate Program equips nonprofit, public, and social enterprise leaders with the tools to make strategic, mission-driven decisions and meaningful change. This program will run from Sep 19, 2024 – April 24, 2025 and will cover topics including leadership, management, leading change, advancing equity, fundraising, marketing, strategy, and financial management. Dr. Manley stated “It is an honor to be selected to join this program and cohort. It will add additional skills that will help make the work we are doing at SCHEQ be more impactful for diverse scholars navigating STEMM careers and getting information to underserved populations to increase health literacy”.
